Biography: Dr. Sergio Araujo Andrade is the Professor of Dental Prosthesis at the University of Itauna, Researcher at the Center for Optical and Photonic Research at the University of Sao Paulo, Associate Researcher at the Center for Biological Chemistry at the University of Sao Joao del Rei, Specialist in dental prosthesis, Master in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship, PhD student in Applied Biotechnology in Health, Expert in Pathology Photodiagnosis, Antibacterial and Antitumor Photodynamic Therapy, Tooth bleaching, dental aesthetics, patent development for healthcare, co-author of chapter: "Optical Fluorescence in Dentistry' of official book: Laser dentistry: Current Clinical Applications" by World Federation for Laser Dentistry. He has expertise in the development and testing of various devices in the field of dentistry and oral screening and diagnosis using fluorescence and focused on the areas of pathology, endodontics, periodontics, dental prosthesis, implant dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral biofilm control. in 2016 took first place with his award research by the British Medical Journal.
