Biography: Dr. Akhiwu Benjamin Idemudia is the Dean Faculty of Dental Sciences of the University of Jos (2014- date) as well as the Head of the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Jos University Teaching Hospital (2014- date). He is an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an interest in Orofacial cancers and maxillofacial fractures. Qualified with Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Benin, FMCDS a National Postgraduate degree from Medical College of Nigeria. MSc Health Economics, MSc clinical epidemiology and MSc in Bioinformatics and genomics from the University of Jos. He is also a Fellow of the International association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons (USA), Fellow International college of surgeons and a Fellow of the Association of Osteosynthesis Germany/ Switzerland.
